PR Boosts Tourism
Hall Hill Farm celebrated its 30th anniversary as a tourist attraction in 2011 and worked with DebSharratt Communications to make the most of this landmark year. News about national awards and new developments created a great regional platform for the farm.
At the start of 2012 a 'lamb-cam' was implemented to raise the profile of the farm and generate engagement not just with the media but also through the farms social media channels. The farm featured in all the regional newspapers, on TV, radio and increased its audience on both Twitter and Facebook. The live-feed of lambing generated user interaction via the website and social media that positioned the farm as not only a leading tourist attraction but also lambing and farming experts, by answering people questions regarding the lambing process.
